MysticBlood

Game Rules

Order, conduct, hierarchy, and law within the world of MysticBlood.

MysticBlood is a roleplay system built on structure, community, supernatural identity, and shared responsibility.

These rules define the channels of communication, the behavior expected of players, the hierarchy of the world, and the procedures through which order is preserved.

Official Communication Channels

The roleplay system provides official communication channels through which players may receive information, request assistance, and remain informed about the development of the game.

Official Website

The official website is the primary source of information and the formal point of reference for the system.

  • System rules and regulations
  • Hierarchical structure
  • World lore and setting
  • Guides for new players
  • Important announcements

Official Discord

The official Discord server is the main communication space between players and staff.

  • Player assistance channels
  • Direct communication with guides and administration
  • Official system announcements
  • Coordination of events and roleplay activities
  • Questions, clarifications, and problem reports

Official Second Life Group

The system also maintains an official group within Second Life itself.

  • Receive important notices directly in-world
  • Stay informed about sim events
  • Remain connected with other players
  • Integrate into the roleplay community

These three channels operate together to ensure that information remains accessible and that the community stays informed, organized, and connected.

Community Conduct

The roleplay system is founded upon cooperation between players. These rules exist to preserve a respectful, safe, and enduring community.

Respect Between Players

  • Insults are not permitted
  • Harassment is not permitted
  • Personal provocation is not permitted
  • Behavior meant to disturb or discomfort others is not permitted

Player and Character Are Not the Same

  • Conflicts between characters belong to roleplay
  • They must never become personal conflicts between players
  • Respect between players must remain intact outside character actions

Tolerance and Diversity

  • No discrimination
  • No racism
  • No attacks based on gender or personal orientation
  • No cultural or religious intolerance

Conflict Resolution

  • Remain calm
  • Attempt a respectful resolution
  • Contact a Guide or a higher-ranking member if needed
  • If unresolved, the matter may be examined by the Council
Conduct in Official Channels

Within Discord, the Second Life group, and all official spaces, respectful language is mandatory, aggressive disputes must be avoided, and staff or moderator instructions must be followed.

System Hierarchy

The roleplay system is organized through a hierarchy that maintains order and coordination within Bloodlines, Clans, and Houses. The same Clan and House ranks apply to Vampires, Witches, and Lycans alike.

Bloodline Administration

This level represents the highest authority supervising the Bloodline as a whole.

  • Oversee the general functioning of the Bloodline
  • Coordinate races and clans
  • Preserve stability within the greater supernatural structure

Governor Bloodline

The highest administrative authority within the Bloodline, responsible for supervision, coordination, conflict intervention, and ensuring respect for the system rules.

Cardinal Blood

A high authority within the Bloodline who participates in councils, conflict resolution, and the preservation of internal balance.

Species Leaders

Each species possesses a supreme leader within the Bloodline, serving as the highest authority of that race.

Arch Vampire

The supreme leader of all vampires within the Bloodline, responsible for representing the species, supervising vampire clans, and maintaining order among their kind.

High Arcane

The highest authority among practitioners of magic, entrusted with guiding witch clans, preserving arcane knowledge, and maintaining magical balance within the Bloodline.

Alpha Lycan

The supreme leader of the Lycans, responsible for guiding packs and clans, maintaining discipline, and representing Lycans before the Bloodline.

Clan Hierarchy

Clans are major organizations within the Bloodline, and the same clan ranks apply across all three species.

  • Sovereign — Leader of the clan, responsible for guiding it, representing it before the Bloodline, and making important decisions for the group.
  • Co-Sovereign — Second in command, supporting the Sovereign, replacing them when needed, and helping preserve internal order.
  • Proconsul — Officer responsible for organization, member oversight, and supporting leadership through coordinated activity.
  • Censor — Officer responsible for internal control, supervision of rules, and reporting serious problems to clan leadership.

House Hierarchy

Houses are smaller internal divisions of clans, functioning as more focused organizational units. Their ranks are shared across all three species.

  • Prince — Leader of the House, responsible for guiding its members, representing it within the clan, and coordinating its internal life.
  • Councilor — Advisor to the Prince, supporting decisions, administration, and communication between House and clan.
  • Herald — Figure responsible for communication and representation, transmitting official messages and announcing important decisions.

Fundamental System Rules

These rules are inviolable. They apply to all players without exception. Any violation threatens the integrity of the system, the roleplay experience, and the stability of the community.

Rule I — Absolute Respect for the System

No player may alter, manipulate, or interfere with the functioning of the system, including race-change totems, official conversion tools, Bloodline, Clan, and House records, or the administration of hierarchies. Unauthorized modification is considered a grave offense and may result in permanent ban.

Rule II — Prohibition of Malicious Content

It is forbidden to introduce any content capable of corrupting data, compromising official tools, or generating malfunctions within the sim or official channels. This includes scripts, objects, messages, or third-party manipulations that can affect the system.

Rule III — Inviolability of Totems and Conversions

The conversion and race-change totem is an official instrument of the system. Unauthorized creation, modification, or personal misuse of such tools is forbidden and may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.

Rule IV — Protection of Bloodlines and Hierarchies

No player may alter bloodlines, clan or house hierarchies, or the assignment of roles within the Bloodline without authorization. Any such attempt constitutes grounds for severe sanction.

Rule V — Ban on External Interference

It is forbidden to use external tools, scripts, bots, hacks, exploits, or programs to interfere with the system, manipulate roleplay, or obtain privileged information without authorization.

Rule VI — Obligation to Respect Council Decisions

All official decisions issued by the Council regarding the system are binding. Ignoring, undermining, or manipulating them is considered a grave infraction.

Sanctions for Violations

Depending on severity, the Council may issue a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. These rules are fundamental to the integrity of the system and admit no exception.

Code of Violations

The Code of Violations regulates player conduct within the roleplay system and defines the classification of offenses according to severity and impact.

Minor Violations

Conduct that has limited or occasional impact on roleplay and is usually resolvable at House, Clan, or Bloodline level.

  • Occasional failure to respect internal House or Clan norms

  • Impact upon the community and the system
  • Repeated behavior may aggravate classification

Procedure

  • Violations may be reported through official channels
  • The parties involved may present their account and evidence
  • The Council evaluates the case and determines a proportional sanction
  • The decision of the Council is final and binding

The Council and Judicial Procedure

The Council is the body charged with analyzing and resolving conflicts within the roleplay system. It functions as the internal tribunal of MysticBlood.

Judge

Directs the proceeding, maintains order, listens to the parties, evaluates presented material, and participates in the final decision. One or more judges may preside depending on the case.

Public Prosecutor

Presents the accusation or case before the Council, explains the alleged violation, and submits evidence or testimony.

Defense Advocate

Represents the accused or involved party, presents their version of events, and offers explanation and defense during the proceeding.

Witnesses

Witnesses may present relevant information, recount facts they observed, and clarify conflict-related circumstances. Testimony must be given with honesty and respect.

Presentation of Cases

When a player believes that a serious violation has occurred, they may request review by the Council. The request should include a clear explanation of the matter, the names of the players involved, and any available evidence such as messages or screenshots.

Course of the Proceeding

  • Presentation of the case by the Public Prosecutor
  • Presentation of the defense by the Defense Advocate
  • Submission of evidence and testimony
  • Evaluation by the Judge or judging council

Possible Decisions
