Here you will find an introduction to the main races, the rules behind conversion, and the path that leads into Bloodlines, Clans, and Houses.

The Races of the Supernatural World

Within this roleplay system there are three main races that exist in the same world: Vampires, Lycans, and Witches. Each has its own nature, culture, and internal identity, yet all of them share the same greater structure based on Bloodlines, Clans, and Houses.

Vampires

Vampires are immortal beings born from ancient supernatural bloodlines. Their power is rooted in blood, inheritance, and dominion over their lineage.

They feed on blood in order to sustain their existence.
They possess strength and speed beyond that of mortals.
They share a deep connection with their bloodline and with their creator.
Their society is highly hierarchical and lineage-driven.

Every vampire belongs to a Bloodline that defines history, tradition, and power. Creating new vampires is an act of responsibility, because each descendant becomes part of the creator’s line and legacy.

Lycans

Lycans are creatures bound to instinct, nature, and the inner beast. Their strength emerges from transformation, resilience, and loyalty to their own.

They can shift between human and bestial form.
They possess heightened senses and powerful endurance.
They rely on physical strength, instinct, and pack discipline.
Loyalty is one of the central values of lycan society.

Although more tribal in spirit than vampire society, Lycans remain organized through bonds of allegiance, clan structures, and internal order.

Witches

Witches are practitioners of arcane knowledge, ritual power, and hidden forces. Their strength does not come from blood or beast, but from discipline, study, and mastery of the unseen.

They command rituals, spells, and occult practices.
They study grimoires, symbols, and ancient knowledge.
They manipulate magical energies through training and understanding.
They form circles of teaching, learning, and transmission of knowledge.

Respect for knowledge, and for those who preserve and transmit it, is essential to maintaining magical balance within the world.

How Race Selection Works

The race of your character is not chosen directly by you. It depends on the person who performs your conversion within the roleplay system.

This means that you will belong to the same race as the person who converts you, and that person will also introduce you to the structure of the Bloodline you are entering.

Your first step into MysticBlood is therefore not only a transformation of race, but an entrance into a lineage, a hierarchy, and a living supernatural order.

Changing Race

If, in the future, you wish to change race, you may do so by using the Race Change Totem available within the sim.

To complete the change, you must use the appropriate totem and pay the required cost in Linden Dollars.

Important Restriction

If your character already has descendants or other converted characters under their command, you may not change race. This rule exists to preserve the coherence of Bloodlines and their hierarchies.

How to Enter a Bloodline, Clan, or House

To enter the roleplay system, your first step is to choose a Guide. The Guide is the player responsible for introducing you to the world and helping you through your first steps.

Choose a Guide

You must first choose a Guide from within the system. This person will be your point of entry into the roleplay structure.

Receive Conversion

Your Guide will perform your conversion. From that moment onward, you become part of their structure within the system.

Enter the Structure

This means you will enter their Bloodline, become part of their Clan, and potentially belong to a House within that greater structure.

Receive Your HUD

You will be given a HUD completely free of charge, which will allow you to take part fully in the roleplay system.

Learn the World

Your Guide will also help you understand the rules of the system, the hierarchy of the roleplay world, and the community of the sim.

Your First Place in the World

Every new player enters MysticBlood through another living structure of the world. No path begins in isolation: it begins through blood, guidance, allegiance, and initiation.

What you become will depend on who brings you in, what lineage receives you, and how you choose to grow within the supernatural order.
